Google Analytics is great, but if you're like me you'll still find yourself using good old Wordpress Stats most of the time; it's much easier to get quick info from it. Is your plugin called "Wordpress.com Stats"? That's the one I use. I know there are some others, called things like "WP Stats." Assuming you're using the right one, I can't imagine what would cause this problem. Because there's no reason why the stats program would even know that's where your blog used to be located.
